Last Year, The Feature First Launched On The Pixel 10 Series Before Coming To Select Samsung Galaxy Devices. Now, brands like Vivo, Oppo, Xiaomi, Honor, and OnePlus are also expected to receive support in the coming months.

The official announcement by Google about their intent to enhance Android File Sharing with better cross-platform compatibility occurred during an event called The Android Show: I/O Edition. The new feature referred to as Quick Share is expected to fix one of the major problems users encounter when transferring files across Android and Apple devices.

At present, the Google’s AirDrop Support is available for select premium smartphones, although the company intends to expand support in the upcoming months.

How Google’s Quick Share File Sharing Works on Android
