Disabling the MSA app

MSA stands for “MIUI system ads”. Only by disabling this app, you reduce most of the ads shown in the UI.

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Go to the “Password & Security”
3. Choose the Authorisation & Revocation option.
4. Find the MSA app and turn it off.

Disable Ads in Xiaomi GetApps Store

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Go to the Passwords & Security.

1. Open the Mi Security.
2. Click On the Settings (Gear Icon) In the Top Right Corner
3. Then Scroll Down & Turn off the Receive Recommendations.
4. Again Back to the Settings Page, Find “Cleaner” and Tap On It.
5. Search the Receive Recommendations & Turn this Off
6. Also, Don’t Forget to Disable the Security Scan Function While Installing a New App To Do So Go to the “Security Scan”
7. Then Disable the “Scan Before Installing & Auto Updates”

Disabling Personal Ad Recommendations & Few Others

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Go to the “Password & Security” & Navigate to “Privacy”
3. Then First Disable the Enroll In User Experience
4. After This Also Disable Usage & Diagnostics Toggle
5. Now Navigate to the Ad Services & Turn off the Ad Services Toggle

Disable ads in Mi Browser

1. Open the Mi Browser app.
2. Tap on the hamburger menu button in the top right corner.
3. Click on Settings.
4. Choose Privacy and Security.
5. Turn off the Personalised Services.

Disable ads in Mi File Manager

1. Open the Mi File Manager app.
2. Click on the hamburger menu button in the top right corner.
3. Choose Settings.
4. Select About.
5. Turn off Recommendations.

Disable ads in Downloads

1. Open the Downloads option.
2. Click on the hamburger menu in the top-left corner.
3. Select Settings.
4. Search for the Show Recommended Content and turn it off.

Disable Ads in MIUI Themes

1. Open the MIUI Themes App >Then Go to Profile Section
2. Navigate to the Settings Page > Search for Recommendations
3. Now Turn Off “Show Ads” & “Personalised Recommendations“
